Why custom instead of a ready-made theme?
Marketplace themes load code for hundreds of features you will never use, which is the main reason such sites are slow, and they lock your content into a page builder you cannot easily leave. A custom theme costs more up front and less over the life of the site.
Can you fix our existing WordPress site?
Yes, and it is a lot of what we do. We start with an audit — speed, security, plugin conflicts, update backlog — and then tell you honestly whether repairing it or rebuilding it is the better use of your money.
Will we be able to edit pages?
Yes. We set up clearly labelled editing fields for the content that changes, rather than giving you a blank page builder where it is possible to break the layout by accident. Training is included at handover.
Do you keep WordPress and plugins updated?
Not automatically after handover unless you take a maintenance plan. Updates do occasionally break things, so they are best applied and checked deliberately — see our Website Maintenance service.
