Customer Research
Who buys, why they buy, what they compared you against, and what nearly stopped them.
Work out who you are selling to, what makes you the obvious choice, and which channels are worth your money — before you spend it.
Most wasted marketing budget is not spent badly — it is spent before anyone decided who the customer is, what makes the business different, or what a sale is actually worth. The tactics were fine; there was no strategy underneath them.
This engagement produces a written plan: your target segments, your positioning, your channel priorities with budgets, and the numbers you will judge it all by. You can hand it to us or to anyone else to execute.
A document your team can act on, not a slide deck of buzzwords.
Who buys, why they buy, what they compared you against, and what nearly stopped them.
What your competitors say, charge and rank for, and the gap you can credibly occupy.
A clear statement of what you do and who for, in words your customers use.
Which channels to run, at what budget, in what order, and what to expect from each.
Sessions with you and your sales team, plus a look at your existing data.
Customer and competitor research, and a review of what you have already tried.
Positioning, messaging and channel plan drafted and put in front of you.
Final written strategy, a working session on it, and a 90-day action plan.
No. The document is yours and it is written to be executed by anyone — your in-house team, another agency, or us. We would rather you had a good plan you can act on than a dependency on us.
Typically two to four weeks, most of which is research and getting time with your team. Rushing it defeats the purpose, since the value is in the research rather than the document design.
If you are spending meaningfully on marketing and are not sure it is working, yes — a few weeks of thinking usually pays for itself in avoided waste. If you are just starting and the budget is very small, we will tell you to skip this and put the money into one channel instead.
A written strategy document covering research findings, positioning, messaging, channel plan with budgets, and a 90-day action plan with owners and dates. Plus a working session where we walk your team through it.
Let us work out the plan first, so the spending afterwards actually counts.
